Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal policy for The International Journal of Business Analytics and Strategy (IJBAS):
Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to the Editor-in-Chief at least 30 days before the publication date of the issue in which the article is scheduled to appear. Once received, the Editor-in-Chief will review the request and decide whether to grant it based on a compelling reason, such as a serious error in the article or changes in the author's research findings. If approved, the article will not be published, and the author will not receive a refund for any article processing charges (APCs) already paid.
Reasons for Withdrawal:
An author might withdraw their article for several reasons, including:
- Serious errors in the article.
- Changes in research findings.
- Finding a better publication venue.
- Loss of affiliation with the funding institution.
- Personal or professional circumstances preventing publication.
How to Withdraw an Article:
To withdraw an article, the author must submit a written request to the Editor-in-Chief with the following information:
- Author's name and contact details.
- Article title and manuscript number.
- Reason for withdrawal.
This request should be submitted as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days before the publication date of the issue in which the article is scheduled to appear.
The Editor-in-Chief's Decision:
The Editor-in-Chief will review the withdrawal request, considering:
- The reason for the withdrawal.
- The stage of the publication process.
- The potential impact on the journal.
If the withdrawal request is granted, the article will not be published, and no APCs will be refunded.
